Many women experience the "baby blues", a few days or up to 14 day after the baby is born. If these feelings become more intense or last longer than the 14 days you may be experiencing postpartum depression.

Postpartum Support International shares approximately 15% of women experience significant depression following childbirth and approximately 6% of pregnant women and 10% of postpartum women develop anxiety. Sometimes they experience anxiety alone, and sometimes they experience it in addition to depression. It it is most important for me to support women in knowing they are not alone, and with help, it will get better.
